Prayer needs for the Ghana Team (Gathered from those present Wednesday evening, July 25, 2007, including requests from the Ghana VBS Mission Team Members.)


Rest when weary from the activities of each day.

Guidance to do the will of the Lord.

Direction for the tasks to be accomplished.

Love for each other as well as the foreign people.

Maturity in Christ.

Wisdom to know what to do and when.

Joy in serving the Lord.

Quickening of mind and body yielded to Christ.

Encouragement daily for each other.

Effective communication to overcome any language barrier.

Peace.

Sensitivity to the Holy Spirit’s leading.

Patience when facing new challenges.

Hunger for the Word each day re-reading John 15.

Focus on the task at hand and not be distracted.

Servant’s heart in working as a team.

Flexibility when things take an unexpected turn.

Unity of the team..all working toward the same goals.

Customs clearance goes smoothly.

Endurance for the long days away from home.

Put on the Full Armor of God (Ephesians 6:11-18).

Good attitude of mutual respect and cooperation.

Families left behind; especially the Wells children.

Peace for parents of students who are a LONG way from home.

Safe & smooth travel & re-entry/customs for the 3 early returnees.

Positive transition and adjustment for all returning students (college and high school)

Strength for the tasks facing them

Souls to be won for Christ.

Health while living in this foreign land.

Safety traveling to and from Ghana and safety while in Ghana.
